"Win a Mitsubishi Big Screen TV" OFFICIAL RULES
1. HOW TO ENTER: Eligible participants who complete an Entry by visiting www.diamond-gard.com or www.specmystarter.com are automatically entered in the “Win a Mitsubishi Big Screen” (the “Contest”) sponsored by the Heavy Duty Starter Motors and Alternators Division of Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America, Inc. (“MEAA”). No purchase is necessary to enter. Contest is limited to one entry per Participant – duplicate entries will be voided. All entries must be received by April 30, 2010. The Contest will begin on February 11, 2010 and will end on April 30, 2010 (the “Contest Period”). By participating, entrants release MEAA, its respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotional agencies, vendors and the employees, officers, directors and agents of any of the above organizations from any and all liability for injuries, losses, or damages of any type caused by participation in the Contest or the acceptance, possession or use/misuse of a prize or participation in any prize-related activities. Participants may “opt” out of the contest at any time by contacting the Contest Sponsor (see below). By participating in this Contest, all entrants represent and warrant that they have the authority to provide the entry information, that it is accurate and complete, and that they understand and hereby authorize use of all or any part of such information for any purpose in connection with this Contest, including but not limited to MEAA and third party marketing, marketing research and referrals.
2. ELIGIBILITY: Participants must be legal U.S. residents, 18 years of age or older. Employees of MEAA, its affiliates, subsidiaries, suppliers, distributors, advertising, sales promotion and household members of each are not eligible to participate.
3. PRIZES, WINNER SELECTION & ODDS OF WINNING: One (1) Mitsubishi-brand Model LT-52249 HDTV (the “Prize”), Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) $3099.00 is being offered. The Prize will be awarded to a Participant selected in a random drawing conducted in accordance with these Official Rules from among all Entries received by April 30, 2010. The drawing will be held on or about May 1, 2010 and may be conducted by MEAA or an independent entity of MEAA’s choosing as determined by MEAA in its sole discretion. The drawing will be conducted electronically through a randomized program. By entering, Participants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of MEAA, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Odds of winning the Grand Prize depend on the number of Entry Forms generated.
4. NOTIFICATION OF WINNER: The Participant who is selected as winner of the Prize (Winner) will be notified via Certified USPS Mail at the Winner’s street address as obtained from the Entry, and will have twenty-one (21) days from date of receipt to complete and return the required documentation (described below) to MEAA and schedule delivery of the prize. MEAA will ship the Prize freight prepaid to the Winner who complies with these requirements. Should the Winner fail to comply with these requirements or is otherwise unable to accept delivery of the Prize, then the winning submission will not be acknowledged. Allow 6-8 weeks for shipment of the Prize. The Winner shall forfeit any prize returned as undeliverable.
5. GENERAL RULES: Acceptance of any prize shall constitute and signify the Winner’s agreement and consent that MEAA may use the Winner’s name, likeness and/or prize information without limitation for promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. Winner specifically acknowledges any and all rights to his/her appearance on any television, radio or print advertisement as the sole property of MEAA and Winner will receive no further compensation relative to airing, broadcast or rebroadcast of such performance. The Winner will be required to complete a claim form, including the provision of an accurate and complete social security number to ensure appropriate government tax reporting. The value of the prize will be determined using the product’s ARV at the start of the promotion. Winner is solely responsible for all income and other taxes assessed on each prize. No substitutions or transfer of prize permitted, except MEAA reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value should the advertised prize become unavailable. The Winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and, where legally permitted, a Publicity Release, as part of the prize claim procedure. In the event of non-compliance with these requirements, Winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner selected in MEAA’s sole discretion. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. This Contest is void where prohibited by law. MEAA reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, or suspend this Contest should unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of MEAA, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness, or proper play of the Contest.
